Eligibility:
- WAI members can apply for scholarships through the Women in Aviation International.
- WAI members must apply for the WAI Aerospace Engineering Scholarships, 2023.
- Candidates may apply for no more than two scholarships.
- Applicants for the WAI Aerospace Engineering Scholarships, 2023, must submit two one-page recommendation letters.
- Candidates must submit a 500-word essay and a resume outlining their aviation history and goals, what they did to achieve those goals, where they see themselves in 10 years, and how this scholarship will help them achieve those goals.
- Applicants must also submit copies of their aviation and medical certificates, as well as the last three pages of their pilot logbook.
- Candidates can apply either electronically or by mailing a paper application.
- WAI Aerospace Engineering Scholarships, 2023 applicants should not submit an electronic application and a paper application for the same scholarship.
- International candidates must meet all requirements and provide copies of certificates, licenses, and medicals as well as the country’s pilot, mechanic, or other requirements.
On July 1, 2022, the scholarships for 2023 will be available online. The deadline for applications is Wednesday, October 12, 2022.
