The University of Nottingham runs a Scholarship Programme known as Nottingham Developing Solutions Scholarships.
This Scolarship Scheme is awarded to students in Africa, India, and selected Commonwealth countries and is for students want to pursue a Master’s Degree, and are prepared for the purpose of improving and developing their home country.
Ranked no 23 in The Complete University Guide 2023, the University of Nottingham has been providing high standard and quality education for the last 142 years. The University runs its operations on four campuses in Nottinghamshire, and two campuses abroad; one in Semenyih, Malaysia, and the other in Ningbo, China. - Sir John Sawers: Head of MI6.

Please note that the Fully Paid Scholarship could come in a 50% or 100% package, awarded to innovative, hardworking students, who are aggressively passionate in developing solutions for their homelands in Asia, Africa as well as other selected commonwealth countries.
This is a Full-time Master’s Degree Programme(s) which includes (MRes) at Nottingham University.
Subjects available for this programme are subjected within the following listed Faculties.
- Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences.
- Faculty of Engineering.
- Faculty of Science and Faculty of Social Science.

- Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Tristan da Cunha, Turks and Caicos Islands, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.
Eligibility for admission for overseas students mandates that the students must be domiciled in Africa, India, or any of the Commonwealth countries listed above in the list.
The students must be classified as oversea students in order to qualify for this Free Scholarship Program.
And very importantly, students must have an existing offer to study a Master’s Degree program including MRes at the University of Nottingham within the enlisted approved Faculties.
Application Procedure(s)
Before an applicant can apply for the Sholarship at the University of Nottingham, such applicant must have first applied and received an offer to study for a Master’s Degree (Including MRes).
